The Story:
Guyanakorn is a rich and wealthy kingdom that seems to have every under control and going so well, however, one day where everyone in the kingdom is being happy therefore not cautious at all, an incident happens. Majuraj is running loose on the country, moving northeast to the kingdom of Guyanakorn.
Inside Guyanakorn is Jitaraj with his 2 mistresses. What every these 2 mistresses say, he will believe and entrust in these two. As each day he eats, sleeps, listen to musicians, watches dancers dance to the musician’s songs. Any wiseman, bishop or statesman trying to contact or warn the king will always have to go back his own way empty handed because of Awicha & Tarnha. Awicha & Tarnha will always tell the king not to worry, “You’re always going to be the king no matter what.” said Awicha. Nothing will bring you down.” Continued Tarnha.
Anusasok knew that this would be a problem. Sathi heard news of Majuraj coming around the area. He knew he had to do something and so he went directly to Jitraraj to prepare the defense systems for Guyanakorn. Jitaraj declared a proportion of soldiers to stand guard near the city walls. “What else must I do?” asked Jitaraj. “You should pray and give your blessings to all of the living beings on this earth.” replied Anusasok. “Please do not crave for your mistresses so much, my Lord, for they are useless at times of despair, and do let her guards at your side so much, because they will make your highness walk the wrong path. In times of trouble they will leave your side instantly.” After listening to his wise man, Jitraj finally knew what he had to do which is to make his prayers and meditate.
Soon after, Akusolajedsik came in and told the King that a King should live as a King. “Your highness should not fear anything, for there is nothing to fear. Your highness should not follow anyone’s orders so easily. There are only just a handful of enemies near. We can destroy them in just one stroke, sire.” After that Tarnha & Awicha waltzed in and said “Why should you worry, my Lord? You have everything you can get in this world. Who would dare come to destroy our grand kingdom of Guyanakorn. If you do not have faith in yourself, who else would? Believe in us, your Highness.”
After listening to the 2 mistresses, he banished the Wiseman out of the castle. The other wisemen that are faithful felt that they would become the same as Anusasok if they tried to tell the King again. It was useless what he tried to tell the king, and the king became what he was like before.
Cuts into another scene: A city burning to the ground, while Majuraj destroys it to a pulp. After Majuraj finishes his last victim, he points into the fire filled sky to the far kingdom of Guyanakorn in the distance. Chara, one of the generals went into make friends with Pathapi in Guyanakorn. Being entertained and also neglecting the walls of Guyanakorn until they become fragile. Payarj said to Majuraj that he’ll go in with the second wave along with Rabard and Roca. Maranang added that he’s going in to bring the head of Jitaraj to Majuraj. With hearing of that, Majuraj finally announced that he will attack on the city.
Chara went in the city only to see Jitraraj still living his life off of pleasure and wealth. So the first attack was on the walls of Tajo(skin), until freckles start coming up. Seeing that the townspeople haven’t the slightest idea of what is happening, the attacked more heavily and deeper into the core of the city. They deteriorated the Marngsa walls, and destroyed the Kesa(hair) strongholds until their orginal colors of black becomes white. Jitaraj finally felt the distant sounds on the kingdom. He looked out the window to find smoke filling the skies. He called out to Pathapi to fix up the Kesa(hair) strongholds. Pathapi brang in the chemicals and plasters to fix the walls, but the more he fixed them, the more it fell apart. He told to the king, that it isn’t working. Jitraraj then remembered what Anusasok had told him earlier that the kingdom of Guyanakorn will be attacked, and that Tarnha & Awicha were the only ones standing in the way of everything.
One of the wisemen then told the king that there will be 3 waves of attacks. The first one is army Chara (aging). Then second army to follow is of (Payard) sickness. And finally the last army to destroy the whole kingdom will be Maranang (death). “If you are captured sire, you will be sent to the prisons of hell with the animals of hell or with the hungry ghosts.” said the wisemen. The king then decided to let the vault keeper of the castle to spend the treasures of the kingdom making merits and giving them to the needy.
After knowing what the king will do, the Tarnha said, “Your highness, do u know how much work we did to get that much money into the national vault. Please do not let yourself be fooled with ideas of making merit by that old wiseman, sire!” The 14 followers of the mistresses then stood up and tried to influence and persuade the king to have fun again and not to get stressed over it. And yet, the king believed them again for the second time.
However, not long all of his pleasure that satisfied him over the past soon became boring for him this time. He fell asleep, and dreamt of a magical being that flew from the skies to ask him “if too long, it must be shortened. If too short, it must be lengthened. Do you understand the meaning of these two phrases?” If you can figure it out in three days, you will be healed from your sickness, but if you cannot, you will surely die. He woke up suddenly, and called back Anusasok.
Anusasok told him that the reason that your luck has run out is because of the 14 followers of Mistress influenced you in seeing wrong as right and as right as wrong. Also the reason why your kingdom is attacked is because you already have enemies inside the kingdom, whom are opening the way for outsiders to invade inside. “It is a good dream sire, not an omen.” he replied. The king then told the wisemen to invite the monks in to tell him more on what he must do to protect the empire.
As the monks came in the next day, they told him that you must obey and follow the 5 precepts: 1. No killing of living breathing lives.
2. No stealing
3. No affairs with more than one woman.
4. No lying or cheating
5. No drinking of wine or liquor.
“These five precepts will be the armor and shield against your enemies invasion.”
“what does ‘anything long must be shortened’mean”? asked the king.
“It means that everyone has sorrow and pain from being born, aged, hurt, and died. The feeling of sadness, vengeance, or uneased feelings come from not being able to stay with the ones you love and disappointment from what you have set your hopes for.
The king obeyed every commandment of from the monks by keeping the 5 precepts pure, always keeping in mind of Buddha, offering food to monks and the needy, and prayer, while at the same time avoiding and ignoring his mistresses and Akusolajedsik. So now his Anusasok is now on duty in protecting the king. Soon afterward, the king’s complexion is looking better, his stress is relieved, and he is more calm and happy. The possessions that were once kept tightly before which were never used on anyone except himself were now given to the poor and needy people of Guyanakorn.
The keeper of the vault was now furious that whatever possession that he kept for the king since many generations before are now gone. Jarka fired Machiriya and and had him carried away. Both Machiriya & Lopo told on them to Tarnha & Awicha. The 2 mistresses then demanded that the king put the belongings back to the vault. This time the King’s mind is cleared. The 2 mistresses could not brainwash the king this time. Then Anusasok's wisemen then vanquished the 2 mistresses off so that they can’t do any ruckus. The king then decided to give up the kingdom and all of his belongings. Majuraj could take the kingdom away, but he could not get a hold of Jitaraj because of his good deeds that have washed away his bad deeds. Now, Jitaraj travels to a new land called Amathanakorn(Nirvana), where there is no pain, no pleasure but only inner peace.
